Remember the little chorus, “Deep and Wide”? Still rings true. I have just concluded preaching series in North Carolina and Ohio. Though different topics, the underlying theme in each locale was depth in our Christian walk. From testimonial accounts, there is reason to believe the Lord commenced working in meaningful ways in numerous lives. Upon heading home, I continue the same direction until I arrive in Thailand to train young missionaries. You could say I am going wide to go deep. By definition that is what missionaries do! I do it so they will. Yep, “Deep & Wide”, or is that “Wide & Deep”?
