The cornfields of Indiana hosted a Missions Conference in my home church in which I served as a speaker. Even though it was spring planting, the fields were "white unto harvest", to quote the Master. Yep, folks can get excited about the Great Commission! Perhaps Brenda's presence for part to the time added to the enthusiasm. (She spent other days visiting her sister in Michigan who has lived away from our islands nearly 40 years.) Transiting through home for a spell, I depart this weekend to the Cook Islands where I'll be on the lookout for falling coconuts. Two weeks teaching at Takamoa Theological College will require I watch out for flying coconuts from angry students! A third week will be spent on an outer island in extensive ministry, including consuming numerous "Nu" ... Cook Island word for coconut.
Should you feel so compelled, your prayers will not only be appreciated but strategic!
